Global CSO Briefing

With the 55th PCB meeting approaching on 10-12 December 2024, we invite you to join the Global CSO Briefing on 27 November 2024, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET (21:00 – 22:30 Bangkok; 09:00 – 10:30 New York). You can register for the call using this link.

As the PCB documents are finalized, we will share an update along with a proposed agenda. The agenda is expected to include discussions on the 2024 NGO Report on community leadership, follow-up to the thematic segment of the 54th PCB meeting titled “Sustaining the gains of the global HIV response to 2030 and beyond,” and the new thematic segment on “Addressing inequalities in children and adolescents to end AIDS by 2030.”

The registration for the 55th PCB meeting is still open. You can register through this link. Civil society observers may participate in person (in Nairobi) or online, following the 2024 modalities and procedures paper. The registration deadline is 18 November 2024.

Our NGO Delegation

The Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) was created to serve as the governing body of UNAIDS. The PCB includes a Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) Delegation composed of five members and five alternates that represent five geographic regions: Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and North America.

UNAIDS was established in 1994 through a resolution of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and made operational in January 1996.
