Call for Expressions of Interest: NGO Report Consultant

Are you committed to advancing community-led solutions, human rights, and sustainability in the global HIV response? The NGO Delegation is seeking an experienced and passionate NGO Report Consultant for this year’s report, “Community-led Integrated Services: A Path to a Sustainable HIV Response.” (working title)

Why This Matters

Community-led, integrated healthcare services are essential for reaching vulnerable populations and addressing social barriers like stigma and discrimination. Models like the Tangerine Clinic and Checkpoint Berlin show that these services not only reduce HIV prevalence and improve retention but also build trust in marginalized communities. With global HIV funding under threat, the sustainability of these services is at risk. This underscores the need for long-term commitments and integration into national health systems, ensuring communities remain central to achieving equitable HIV care and support.

Your Role and Impact

As the NGO Report Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of this important initiative, leading the development of a report that captures the essence of community-led HIV services. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing the Report Outline: Creating a solid framework and refining it based on feedback from the delegation.
  • Designing Data Collection Tools: Crafting interview guides and surveys to gather essential insights from key stakeholders.
  • Conducting Research: Reviewing relevant literature and publications to inform the report’s key themes.
  • Surveying Experts: Coordinating an online survey with civil society leaders, supported by the CCF.
  • Compiling Case Studies: Highlighting at least five compelling, real-world examples of successful community-led HIV initiatives.
  • Drafting and Revisions: Writing the initial report draft, collaborating with the Working Group and CCF for feedback and revisions.
  • Finalizing the Report: Ensuring the report is polished, incorporating feedback, and editing by the UNAIDS Secretariat.
  • Creating a Visual Presentation: Designing an engaging slide deck that summarizes the report’s findings for the PCB meeting.

Ready to Make a Difference?

If you have a strong background in report writing, data collection, and are passionate about community-led solutions, we want to hear from you! Please submit your expression of interest, CV, and a quote to info@unaidspcbngo.org by 23 April 2025.
