Call for Case Studies: Community Leadership in the HIV Response

We are excited to announce the call for case studies for this year’s NGO report, which will focus on Community Leadership. This annual report sheds light on critical issues relevant to the global HIV response. This year, we’re spotlighting the indispensable role of community-led activities in achieving the goal of ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

Community-led AIDS responses are actions and strategies designed to enhance the health and human rights of communities most affected by HIV. These responses are uniquely informed and executed by the communities themselves and the organizations, groups, and networks that represent them.

Call for Case Studies

We are looking for compelling case studies that highlight the resilience and leadership of key and priority communities, particularly in the face of challenges such as:

  • Restricted civic space
  • The rise of the ‘anti-rights/anti-gender’ movement
  • Human rights violations, including stigma, discrimination, and violence related to HIV, gender, and/or key and priority populations
  • Lack of funding and resources to support community leadership

If you have a case study that showcases these themes, we invite you to submit it for consideration in our report.
