Tan Fok Jun (Jeremy) is a committed Program Officer at Youth LEAD, the Asia-Pacific Network for Young Key Populations, where he works to enhance regional collaboration, advocacy, and support for marginalized youth in the HIV response. With a strong background in youth leadership and community mobilization, Jeremy has held key roles such as youth representative and Oversight Committee member on the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) and as part of the Youth Reference Group for the International HIV Workshop for Adolescents. His work focuses on advancing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people, advocating for mental health, and ensuring youth perspectives are central to policy and legislative dialogues. Through his leadership in organizing trainings and dialogues, Jeremy demonstrates his dedication to empowering young people with the resilience, knowledge, and support needed to thrive.
Youth LEAD is a regional, youth-led organization devoted to empowering young key populations across Asia-Pacific. It works with communities at heightened risk of HIV and those experiencing social exclusion, including young people from marginalized backgrounds and teenage mothers. By building partnerships with national focal points and stakeholders, Youth LEAD promotes community-driven and sustainable HIV response initiatives. Through advocacy, comprehensive sexuality education, and capacity-building programs, the organization champions the rights, safety, and well-being of young people, strengthening their role in shaping inclusive policies and resilient communities throughout the region.
