Call for Nominations: NGO Delegation Representative on Expert Advisory Committee on Evaluation

The NGO Delegation is calling for nominations to appoint a representative to the Expert Advisory Committee on Evaluation, an independent body providing essential advice and guidance to the UNAIDS Evaluation Office. This voluntary position seeks candidates with substantial experience in monitoring and evaluation, as well as strong connections to global civil society working in HIV.

  • Eligibility: Individuals with a robust background in monitoring and evaluation and well-connected to global civil society engaged in HIV initiatives.

Background Information: The Expert Advisory Committee on Evaluation has been instrumental in supporting the UNAIDS Evaluation Office since its establishment in 2019. The committee’s formation follows decision 6.6 of the 44th UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) meeting, which approved the UNAIDS Evaluation Policy. The committee is composed of up to seven technical experts nominated by PCB Member States, the PCB NGO Delegation, and the Cosponsor Evaluation Group.

Currently, the committee includes representatives from diverse regions, including a member from the PCB NGO Delegation.
