The NGO Delegation produced a response paper to the SIE Final Report and submitted it to the board as a Conference Room Paper to the 25th PCB Meeting in December 2009.
SIE Civil Society Letter

On November 29th, the PCB NGO Delegates distributed a sign on letter calling for the attention of the Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) of UNAIDS to important points from civil society, in response to the Second Independent Evaluation (SIE). This letter was supported by 151 civil society organizations, even within the short deadline of just under one week.

The NGO Delegation, their Consultative Group and the Communications Facility have worked together to create a shorter version of the SIE Report so that the findings of the evaluation are made more accessible to civil society.

The NGO Delegation with support of its Communications Facility, translated the executive summary of the Final SIE Report (including the recommendations) into 5 languages (French was not included as the full report was translated by UNAIDS).

The Annexes of the Final SIE Report are made up of sections on the terms of reference, methodology, list of people met, bibliography, analysis of response to five-year evaluation, UN reform, health systems strengthening, governance of UNAIDS, division of Labour and administration of UNAIDS Secretariat.
