UNAIDS Report on HIV First Learning Wave (FLW)

The report by UNAIDS, Experiences from the Three Countries in the HIV First Learning Wave (FLW) focuses on experiences in Kenya, Rwanda and Malawi during 2009. The key findings include:

  • The NSA modality is a important mechanism to strengthen strategic planning for HIV and AIDS in countries
  • The NSA modality has not been well understood: UNAIDS needs to conduct more robust dialogue with GF, and other partners, about what support is required to roll it out.
